RESERVATION DEPOSIT POLICY

Reservation Deposit Policy

For medical consultation, aesthetic treatment, and surgical appointments

Last updated: August 2026

To protect clients' appointment opportunities and allow us to coordinate doctors, medical staff, facilities, and other resources, we may require a reservation deposit for selected consultations, treatments, procedures, or surgery appointments.

Please read this policy carefully before making a payment. By paying a reservation deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

1. Purpose of the Reservation Deposit

The reservation deposit is used to secure and coordinate the appointment, including:

Experienced doctors often have limited availability. Once an appointment is confirmed and the deposit is received, the reserved time may no longer be offered to another client. The deposit therefore reflects the time and resources committed to the appointment; it is not merely a hold placed on a payment.

2. Deposit Amount and Pricing

The reservation deposit is a fixed amount of USD 500.00 for every eligible appointment, regardless of the selected service, doctor, facility, or appointment type.

Before payment, we will clearly state the appointment or service, fixed deposit amount, currency, and relevant appointment details. The deposit is payable only after the client confirms these details.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the deposit will be credited toward the total price of the corresponding service and deducted from the final balance when the service is provided. The deposit is not the total price of the service.

3. Payment and Appointment Confirmation

Deposits may be paid through Alipay or Airwallex on our website. The checkout currency is USD.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges, international transaction fees, or other charges. These charges are outside our control and may be the client's responsibility.

An appointment is considered confirmed only when the deposit has been successfully received and we have issued an appointment confirmation. A payment attempt, authorization, or pending transaction does not by itself guarantee an appointment.

4. Deposit Is Generally Non-Refundable

Because we reserve doctor time and begin coordinating related resources after an appointment is confirmed, a reservation deposit is generally non-refundable when the client cancels or does not attend for personal reasons.

This includes, without limitation:

This policy exists because the reserved doctor time may have been declined to other clients and may not be recoverable after the cancellation.

5. Limited Exceptions and Refunds

Although deposits are generally non-refundable, we may provide a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

5.1 We Cannot Provide a Confirmed Appointment

If we, the doctor, or the medical facility cannot provide a confirmed appointment and the parties cannot agree on a suitable alternative date or arrangement, the applicable deposit may be refunded.

5.2 Duplicate Payment or Clear Processing Error

If a technical or processing issue results in the same deposit being charged more than once, we will refund the duplicate amount after verification.

5.3 Applicable Law or Payment Rules

If applicable law, regulatory requirements, or binding payment-network rules require a refund, we will process the refund in accordance with those requirements. Processing a refund does not constitute an admission of liability.

6. Medical Assessment and Suitability

Payment of a reservation deposit does not mean that a doctor has determined that the client is medically suitable for a particular treatment or surgery.

Some services require an assessment of the client's medical history, physical condition, examination results, and other safety factors before treatment or surgery. If a doctor determines that the originally requested service is not medically appropriate, we will first discuss available options, which may include:

The doctor's clinical judgment and applicable medical-safety requirements take priority over any prior service selection or price indication.

7. Rescheduling

Requests to change an appointment should be submitted as early as possible. A rescheduling request may be accommodated at our discretion, subject to doctor availability, facility availability, and any applicable deadline or administrative fee stated at the time of booking. A rescheduled appointment remains subject to this policy.

8. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method. The timing of the credit may depend on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, currency conversion, and international processing procedures. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.

9. Questions and Disputes

If you have a question about a deposit, please contact us using the contact details provided on our website before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. We will review the booking record, payment information, appointment communications, and the circumstances of the request.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available to a client under applicable law.

10. Acceptance of This Policy

By completing a reservation-deposit payment, the client confirms that the deposit amount, currency, appointment details, and this policy have been made available for review and accepted before payment.
